With more than 15 years of experience in content generation and content management, you could call me a professional perfectionist.

I earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Bowling Green State University while managing The Gavel, a monthly student magazine for fraternities and sororities. In 2004, I was selected to participate in the prestigious Dow Jones Newspaper Fund internship program, getting first-hand newspaper experience at the Democrat & Chronicle of Rochester, N.Y.

My journalism career progressed at The Journal Gazette in Fort Wayne, Ind., where I was hired as a copy editor. Within a short time I ascended the newsroom ranks, rising to the position of news editor with duties including on-deadline management of the flagship Sunday newspaper. Along the way, I handled news features such as weekly newsmaker profiles and week-in-review roundups, as well as managing an entertainment blog and overseeing the newspaper's entry into social media.

Later, I served as a newspaper producer for Journal Media Group, with editing and graphic design duties for local newspapers in Texas, California and Washington.

My most recent experience as a writer and editor came at The Arlington Bank, a community bank northwest of downtown Columbus, Ohio. I wrote for the website, customer communications and internal newsletters.
